Monin Coconut Syrup
As a young man (only 19), George Monin started selling branded wines and spirits in 1912. He chose the slogan "Passion for quality" and this is the ethos behind the company to this day. A french company, it is still family owned, and it's now the third generation leading the business.
The coconut, as its name would suggest, is the nut from the tropical Coconut Palm Tree. This tree is native to more than 80 tropical and sub-tropical countries where it's considered indispensible.
It's flavour is truly versatile, and pairs well with sweet flavours, but also bitter and salty. However it's used, it adds a delicate, and delicious flavour of the tropics.
