As a young man (only 19), George Monin started selling branded wines and spirits in 1912. He chose the slogan "Passion for quality" and this is the ethos behind the company to this day. A french company, it is still family owned, and it's now the third generation leading the business.
Monin's pure cane sugar syrup is a premium quality simple sugar syrup. It's made purely from 100% pure cane sugar syrup and filtered water.
Fun fact: Sugar cane itself is a tall perennial grass which is native to the tropical regions of South Asia, and grows several metres in height.
